Navi 21 XTXH also for the Asus ROG STRIX LC RX 6900 XT: welcome TOP Edition

Also Asus, following other examples like that of PowerColor or Sapphire, he decided to adopt the highly selected Navi 21 XTXH GPU to fine-tune one Radeon RX 6900 XT able to function a very high frequencies. In fact, the company proposes the “TOP Edition“of the ROG STRIX LC Radeon RX 6900 XT, a card we had already told you about in the past.

This model features a hybrid heatsink, as it is equipped with both a fan and a liquid heatsink consisting of a 240mm radiator with two 120mm ARGB fans and 600mm tubes. The liquid system takes care of cooling the GPU and the surrounding GDDR6 memory, while the heat produced by the phases and the rest of the components is managed by the blower fan. Present three 8-pin PCIe power connectors and a large set of video outputs between HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4.

As regards the frequencies, you go from a maximum Game Clock of 2135 MHz and a Boost Clock up to 2365 MHz for the “classic” model, at frequencies fino a 2375 MHz in Game Clock e fino a 2525 MHz in Boost Clock for this new TOP Edition. In practice, the Game Clock has risen by 240 MHz, while the Boost Clock has been increased by 160 MHz.

Asus’ proposal reaches very high frequencies, but not record-breaking if we think that the Sapphire RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme (equipped with a liquid cooling system with a 360 mm radiator) pushes the Boost Clock up to 2730 MHz.
