New Polish DDR4 IRDM. What has Goodram prepared?

Each of you probably knows Wilk Elektronik SA, although you may not be aware of it. It operates on the market under a much more recognizable name – Goodram. This company has just boasted about its new product, thanks to which the market received the new Polish DDR4 IRDM. They do not appear in white and red, but with Goodram IRDM RGB DDR4 backlighting they will surely delight you.

Goodram IRDM RGB DDR4, the new Polish DDR4

In terms of specifications, average, priced quite poorly compared to the competition, but at least pleasing to the eye … if you like this type of visual envelope for operating memory modules. In short, you can define the new IRDM RGB DDR4, which will compete on the market, among others with Kingston Fury Beast RGB or ADATA XPG Spectrix D41 modules.

Although DDR5 is already around the corner with the premiere of Alder Lake-S processors, we will be tied to DDR4 for a long time, which Goodram knows and confirms with its performance on the market. Most likely, the price of these memories will drop over time, because currently the 2 × 8 GB set is priced at PLN 459, which is not impressive compared to competing models.

Lifetime warranty, a combination of a black aluminum heat sink with a milky-colored plastic diffuser crowning the top and eight RGB LEDs on the IRDM RGB DDR4 board can make an impression, especially in the Goodram offer, where this type of model is missing. Especially that the manufacturer did not exaggerate the height of these modules, because although the unnecessary milky insert made them a bit larger, not to the extent that they could interfere with the extensive air cooling systems for the CPU (they are 44.8 mm high).

In terms of specifications, these new Polish DDR4 IRDM from Goodram offer a decent, by current standards, clock level of 3600 MHz with delays of 18-22-22. Such an increase in the specification against the JEDEC standard made the modules consume more electricity – 1.35 V. This is an increase of 0.15 V compared to the basic assumptions of DDR4.
