The specification of the budget smartphone Nokia G50 is no secret to us, but so far the information came only from leaks. Only now have we received some confirmation, because the TENAA certification of this model has appeared.
What does TENAA reveal about the Nokia G50?
The Chinese office reveals the details of the specifications of this new Nokia budget smartphone. Actually, this is a confirmation of previous leaks and reports, but not entirely. We know that the G50 model will be equipped with an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.82 inches (rumors spoke of a diagonal of 6.38 inches) and HD + resolution. The heart of this smartphone will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor.
The most interesting, however, is the memory configuration, because here real miracles happen. When it comes to RAM, Nokia G50 is to offer 2,4,6 or even 8 GB, while on the built-in memory side we have 64, 128, 256 or … 512 GB, yes, exactly – 512 GB, that is the amount of memory that appears can only be found in high-end flagships. Of course, it should be remembered that obtaining a certificate does not mean that ultimately such a version will go into the hands of consumers. Especially if we take into account the reports that, as announced, it is to be a budget phone.
The battery in this model, according to certification, is to have a capacity of 4850 mAh, but we do not know anything about the charging power. Nokia G50 is to work under the control of Android 11. In terms of cameras, we know that there will be an 8 Mpix selfie camera on the front, and a 48 Mpix main module on the back and two other lenses that TENAA does not specify. We know from leaks that these can be two 2 Mpix “eyes”, probably a macro and a depth sensor.
