Novak allowed Russia to reduce oil production in December due to sanctions

MOSCOW, 14 Oct — PRIME. Oil production in Russia in November is expected to be stable at 9.9 million barrels per day, adjustments are possible in December due to EU sanctions, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

Novak predicted Europe’s energy poverty after the emergency at Nord Stream
“Now we have 9.9 million barrels per day. November is also expected,” Novak said, commenting on the prospects for oil production.
“In December, we will see how our companies will adapt to the European embargo. Some adjustments are possible there. It will depend on sales,” he added.
