Now it’s your turn: Pure Base 500 DX and Pure Loop 240 from be quiet! in the reader test

The following reader test of the raffled bundle from the be quiet! Pure Base 500 DX and the Pure Loop 240 were invited by our reader Nuri, for which we would like to express our thanks! The test is quite extensive, so I was happy to leave it (almost) in the original. And that’s exactly why Nuri now also has the word (and image) πŸ™‚

Hello, dear community!

First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to join Igor’s Lab and be quiet! for the test sample of the Pure Base 500 DX and Pure Loop 240. The test samples remain in my possession after the review, but the manufacturer did not exert any influence on the test report and there were no specifications whatsoever. I hope you enjoy reading my review of the Pure Base 500DX and Pure Loop 240.

introduction

I signed up for this bundle consisting of the, be quiet! Pure Base 500 DX in white and the be quiet! Pure Loop 240 advertised. In fact, I was also one of two lucky winners. But the whole thing comes in handy for me because I wanted to exchange my old case anyway, because in the end it was much too big according to my requirements. My setup consisted of a be quiet! Silent Base 802 in white (what a coincidence) with a viewing window, an Intel Core i9-9900k @Stock on an Asus Prime Z-370P and 32 GB Corsair DDR4 3000 Mhz CL15, an Asus ROG Strix 3070 OC in combination with a CableMod and a vertical graphics card holder, a NZXT X73 as CPU cooling, a be quiet! Straight Power Platinium 750 watts as well as the LIAN LI Strimer Plus.

The be quiet Silent Base 802 is a really good case, but in the end I personally had the feeling that the case looked very empty and so I looked for another alternative. I really wanted to go to a be quiet! Housings remain, as I have only had positive experiences with both the products and the customer service so far. The choice went relatively quickly to the Pure Base 500 DX because be quiet! has only a very small selection with white housings, because in addition to the Silent Base 802 and Pure Base 500DX, as far as I know there is still the Pure Base 500 without DX in white.
