Nvidia airs live at CES 2021 – “Geforce RTX: Game On”

As a result of the corona pandemic, there will be no physical Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, after the turn of the year. Instead, it will be a week filled with live broadcasts from a myriad of different companies. Last in line to announce that they are holding court is the graphics card giant Nvidia.

The event is called “Geforce RTX: Game On” and according to Nvidia themselves, they will “present the latest innovations in games and graphics”, but without going into further details. The fact that they use CES as a pronounced consumer fair as a platform makes it likely that this is the Geforce RTX 3000 series for laptops, which according to previous information will be launched in January.

Another product that has long been rumored is the Geforce RTX 3080 Ti, which in terms of performance will be placed between the RTX 3080 and the RTX 3090 in order to compete with the AMD Radeon RX 6900. Other possibilities are that a number of major games with ray tracingsupport takes up a lot of space and that it is about a new service, or improvement of the streaming service Geforce Now.
