Earlier this week, Nvidia unveiled the latest addition to the Pascal graphics card family, namely the new top model Geforce GTX 1080 Ti. This takes over the Nvidia Titan X place as the top model in the graphics card series, but at a much lower price tag of 699 USD.
Nvidia’s website reveals that the Swedish price lands at SEK 8,499 for the reference model Founder’s Edition. The price is also the one recommended for partner manufacturers’ graphics cards, where many more lavish models can be expected to land at least a few hundred bucks higher.

In terms of specifications, this is a model that is more powerful than the Titan X “Pascal” in several respects. Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti is equipped with 11 GB of GDDR5X memory with a memory frequency of 11,000 MHz and a memory bandwidth of 484 GB / s. The number of CUDA cores remains at 3,584, but these are higher clocked directly from the factory.
As with previous launches, Nvidia’s own Founder’s Edition will be the first to be launched. Pre-bookings for the card will open soon, and will then be launched next week. Models from partner manufacturers are expected to appear later in March.
