Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti finds out in the picture – launched on 22 February

The latest in a series of leaks comes from Videocardz, which publishes photos of four models from manufacturers Palit and EVGA. For Palit, it’s about StormX and StormX OC, and as the name suggests, it’s overclocking directly from the factory that separates the two.

The graphics card is smaller in size and based on the pictures it only looks like it can take up two expansion slots. The cooling consists of a single fan of 100 mm and in terms of specifications, the previous data on 1,536 CUDA cores and a turbo frequency of 1,770 MHz are confirmed. For the OC variant, the turbo frequency is increased up to 1,815 MHz.

From EVGA these are the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti XC and the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti XC Black. Here, too, it is the clock frequencies that differentiate the models, but exactly how large the increase is for the XC model is still unknown. Unlike Palit’s model, the graphics cards are slightly larger and take up three expansion slots.

All models are equipped with the Turing-based circuit TU116, as well as 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. The Turing architecture will mean performance improvements and there is talk of an increase of around 20 percent compared to the popular Geforce GTX 1060.

Previous information has suggested a launch around February 15, but according to Videocardz, it will instead take place a week later on February 22. The price tag for Nvidia’s upcoming Geforce GTX 1660 Ti is, according to previous rumors, 279 USD or the equivalent of a little more than 3,200 kronor including VAT.
