Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti from MSI and Palit is listed at Russian retailers

Since the beginning of 2019, there has been a lot of talk about new graphics cards from Nvidia in lower price ranges. Information about model names has varied, but they have now more or less been confirmed after several leaks that indicated that the graphics cards are called Geforce GTX 1660 Ti and Geforce GTX 1660.

The models were recently listed on the price comparison site Prisjakt and now one of them appears at four Russian retailers. In total, there are four variants of the Geforce GTX 1660 Ti, with two from MSI and two from Palit. From MSI, these are models equipped with the company’s Armor and GamingX coolers, and from Palit’s side, the StormX variant applies.

The listings mention the specifications of the model, which are consistent with previous data. It is equipped with 1,536 CUDA cores and base and turbo frequencies of 1,500 and 1,770 MHz, respectively. This includes a 192-bit memory bus with 6 GB of GDDR6 memory, similar to Nvidia’s latest RTX 2060.

It is worth mentioning that two of the models are said to come with GDDR5 memory, while the other two get GDDR6 memory. Prior to the launch of the RTX 2060, there was talk that it would be released in two different configurations when it came to memory type, and it is possible that it was instead the GTX 1660 Ti that the data applied to.

The models from Palit are listed with a price tag corresponding to SEK 3,800, which is slightly higher than previously mentioned. However, it is possible that the price is preliminary and can be changed before launch. The launch is expected to take place on 14 or 15 February, but even this is currently not confirmed.
