Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 specifications leaked

Towards the end of May, Nvidia launched the first graphics cards in the new Geforce GTX 700 series. First out was the flagship Geforce GTX 780, which was followed by the Geforce GTX 770 just over a week later, in both cases it was about previously known graphics processors. The next combatant in the series will arrive shortly.

Videocardz now publishes the specifications for the Geforce GTX 760, which will be a direct replacement for the Geforce GTX 660 Ti. It is once again about the graphics processor GK104, however in a completely new configuration. Compared to the Geforce GTX 660 Ti, an SMX cluster is replaced by a wider 256-bit memory bus.

The Geforce GTX 760 thus gets 1,152 CUDA cores clocked at 980 MHz with a nominal clock frequency of 1,033 MHz via temperature-controlled GPU Boost 2.0. The 256-bit memory bus is accompanied by 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, but manufacturers are also allowed to release 4 GB cards, clocked at 6,008 MHz.

The TDP value is 170 watts, up from 150 watts in the Geforce GTX 660 Ti. Nvidia’s reference model is the same as before, which means a very short circuit board with associated cooler and 6 + 6-pin PCI Express connectors for power supply. In addition, two DVIs, an HDMI and a Displayport for video connections are visible.

Price information is not stated, but according to the report, the graphics card will compete with the AMD Radeon HD 7950. The launch is said to take place on 25 June.
