Nvidia is interviewed about DirectX 12 Ultimate and future graphics technology

The computer world trinity Intel, Nvidia and AMD were all interviewed for SweClockers Live! 2021, which was broadcast in the evening on Thursday 27 May. For the live broadcast, there were three cut-down versions, which we of course want to publish uncut for everyone who either missed the event or want to see what we had to leave out in order to catch up with the schedule.

From Nvidia’s side, a face known among technology journalists participated. Marketing manager Benjamin “Ben” Berraondo, like AMD’s product manager Nish Neelalojanan, had to answer questions about the graphics technologies found in DirectX 12 Ultimate and also the proprietary Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), which through AI calculations scales up the image to give higher frame rate without significant loss of image quality.

Of course, we could not refrain from asking questions about prices and availability of graphics cards, something that has been a hot potato to say the least since the Geforce RTX 3000 series was launched in September last year. When asked which technology he is most looking forward to, the answer is reminiscent of AMD’s. Can a plus one be a sign of what is to come?
