Nvidia releases driver for Tomb Raider, The Division and external graphics cards

After a hectic game year 2015, the new year kicks off with two long-awaited titles for PC / Windows. The first is the newly launched Rise of the Tomb Raider and the second is Tom Clancy’s The Division, which may not be launched until March 8, but is currently available to beta testers.

Nvidia is now releasing the driver Geforce 361.75 WHQL, which is mainly a so-called Game Ready with special optimizations for the two game titles. In addition, the duo gets SLI profiles, accompanied by the same for the game titles Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.

Another news is that the driver provides early support for external graphics cards, which are connected via Thunderbolt 3. Such a solution was shown by Razer during CES 2016 and something AMD was careful to point out that only Radeon had support for plug and play, while external Geforce still required a restart of the computer.
