Nvidia announced the launch of its graphics drivers GeForce 460.79 WHQL Game Ready, which add support to the launch that arrives tomorrow, that is, the Cyberpunk 2077. Additionally, it includes support for the final version of Minecraft RTX which adds the DLSS.

Otherwise these drivers give access to Nvidia G-Sync Compatible technology to the Acer XV242Y, Acer XB273U NV, Gigabyte FI27Q-X, MSI MAG274R and Philips 275M8RZ monitors; solves the black curbs on the Forza Motorsport 7; change the RGB color format to ycbcr422 when exceeding a refresh rate of 100 Hz; system to hang with an SLI setting of 2x GeForce RTX 3090 with three monitors with active G-Sync; poor accounting of Tensor cores on Ampere GPUs; the crashing of videos when it is at a resolution of 1088 pixels in the classic Windows video player; or not being able to choose the color setting on monitors with 5K resolution.

To be resolved, the company indicates certain problems in Windows 10, such as the stuttering or lag that is experienced when running a game of SteamVR; an increase in power consumption when we have an Ampere GPU and high refresh rate G-Sync monitor during basic use of the system; stuttering by scrolling on YouTube; some laptops with a Pascal GPU and a high refresh rate monitor may drop to 60Hz during gaming; or that when using a 2560 x 1440p @ 144 Hz monitor the system status stays at maximum performance.
