Yes it is. According to the latest report, Nvidia’s next flagship Turing graphics card will be slightly cheaper than the $ 699 (Rs 42,000) Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 could hit the market for $ 649, according to information posted on Baidu by a user who claims to be familiar with the plans of the manufacturer’s partners.

This information does not come from a direct insider source, so the reasoning behind this rumor is rather shaky. Such a low price will be shocking, especially when compared to the astronomical prices for other Quadro RTX graphics cards from Nvidia. Nevertheless, we will hope to the last that the rumor is correct, all for the sake of our wallets.

The same source also claims that the Nvidia RTX 2080 will include 3,072 CUDA cores clocked at 1,920 MHz with overclocking potential up to 2,500 MHz.

It looks like the new graphics card will be faster than the Nvidia Titan V and, on paper at least, it may offer specs to beat the flagship Volta graphics cards rated at 1,455 MHz – though not TIN V 5120 CUDA. Meanwhile, the Nvidia GTX 1080 has 2560 CUDA cores clocked at 1733 MHz.
