NVIDIA Titan RTX tested in 3DMark Firestrike

The apple of the eye of Nvidia, the most powerful currently Titan RTX card, which made its debut on the market just a few dozen hours ago, has already reached the hands of overclockers who boast about their records in the official 3DMark database.

However, we will only take care of one chap, because a certain Death from Twitter boasted about his Titan RTX model, which he equipped with a water block with the addition of an LCD display. It is important, however, that overclocking the launched RTX allowed it to hit 2070 MHz on the graphics core and 2025 MHz on GDDR6 memory chips. Before we take a look at the result, let me remind you that the Titan RTX graphics card features a full-fledged TU102 core with 4608 CUDA cores, 288 TUs and 96 ROPs, accompanied by 576 Tensor and 72 RT cores. That’s a pretty big difference to what the RTX 2080 Ti offers (4352 CUDA cores), but it looks like the double the price ($ 2,499 vs $ 1,199) isn’t exactly directly proportional to performance:

The overclocked Titan RTX achieved 41,109 points in the Fire Strike graphical benchmark test. This is just over 1100 points more compared to the RTX 2080 Ti overclocked to 2175 MHz (39,958 points to be exact). The percentage difference is therefore about 3%, which, however, is not particularly accurate due to the differences in the degree of OC. So we will have to wait for the final verdict, although the price still confirms the professional purpose of this novelty.
