It is confirmed
Nvidia will release in January 2022:
The above rumors are true!
What do we know about these graphics cards?
According to previous rumors, the RTX 2060 12GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB will maintain the same specifications as their original variants, except for the VRAM that will be doubled. The amount of Cuda Cores, frequencies, TDP, and so on would remain exactly the same.
The RTX 3090 Super will have some changes compared to the standard RTX 3090, highlighting its 10752 Cuda Cores instead of 10496 and its 21Gbps GDDR6X VRAM compared to the 19.5Gbps used in the standard model. It is also rumored that it will not have NVLink, marking the end of this technology.
It will be interesting to see if Nvidia ends up releasing editions with more VRAM than its other RTX 30s, as it doesn’t make much sense for the RTX 3080 to have 10GB when the RTX 3060 has 12GB and the RTX 3070 Ti will now have a 16GB variant. At the moment the only model in which it was confirmed that the VRAM will be doubled is the RTX 3070 Ti so we recommend not to get too hopeful.
