Omen X Emperium becomes the first Big Format Gaming Displays TV

The market of large-format screens prepared for players is just in its infancy, but considering the fact that their price is cosmic, there is nothing surprising in it. As part of the long-announced Big Format Gaming Displays family from Nvidia, HP has prepared the Omen X Emperium TV. Thus, it became the first manufacturer whose offer was enriched by BFGD.

An AMVA panel with a diagonal of 64.5 inches was inserted into the HP Omen X Emperium, which can boast a resolution of 4K (3840 x 2160), but this is only the tip of the iceberg. This giant for the living room also has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which jumps to 144 Hz in “OC mode”. A similar overclock can be applied to the response time – from 14 ms in the default setting to 4 ms under the overdrive function. Its brightness, in turn, is 750 nits by default and as much as 1000 nits, which it shoots thanks to HDR technology. Thanks to this, it fits in the framework of the latest Nvidia standard – G-Sync Ultimate. The rest of the features are complemented by a maximum contrast of 4000: 1, 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles and 1.07 billion displayed colors with 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 spectrum. On the side of the connectors, we have three HDMI 2.0a, one DP 1.4, HUB USB 3.0, optical and line port and HDMI ARC.

Omen X Emperium also solves the sound problem by offering an integrated soundbar powered by LOFAR technology with three stereo amplifiers with a power of 120 W. Shield TV is present. However, do not count on something cheap, because we will pay $ 4,999 for the first BFGD TV when it makes its debut at the end of February.
