Outriders, with the DLSS up to 73% boost in 4K: word of Nvidia

As anticipated by the publication of the new dedicated drivers, today the debut day of Outriders, the third-person cooperative role-playing game developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. one of the few titles to offer the Nvidia’s DLSS technology without combining it with ray tracing, with the clear intention of focusing on performance rather than further refine graphics.

According to a chart released by Nvidia, the DLSS in Outriders (which we will test starting next week to offer you a technical insight) allows each GeForce RTX GPU to reach 60 FPS at 1440p resolution, while performance increase in 4K can reach up to 73%, allowing GPUs like the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and 3070 to handle an otherwise unenjoyable resolution with good performance at maximum details.

Above you can see the requirements recommended by developers, with the RTX 3080 or the RX 6800 XT to play in 4K at 60 fps, obviously without DLSS. Prepare the space on your SSD, because 70 GB is needed, although there is an alternative, that is stream it via GeForce NOW (Founders and Priority members can enjoy DLSS) or Google Stadia.
