Owners of smartphones from the Pixel 6 series received a surprise update containing two software compilations. What changes does this patch bring?
Unexpected update of Pixel 6 smartphones in mid-November
It is worth noting that the SD1A.210817.037 compilation is intended for the global variant, and the SD1A.210817.037.A1 compilation for Verizon. The update itself is small, weighing only 14.56 MB. So what has Google prepared? The company has not revealed this to us yet, but the changelog published by Verizon suggests that the changes relate to a problem with the fingerprint reader.

For some time now, more and more owners of Pixel 6 smartphones have been complaining about the fingerprint scanner, which works slowly and causes huge problems (after fully discharging the smartphone, the reader stopped working and only a factory reset helped). So it looks like the November update will fix this problem. Will it introduce anything else? We should find out soon.
