PowerColor unveils an all-white 6700 XT: here is the Hellbound Spectral White

PowerColor presented the RX 6700 XT Hellbound Spectral White, a card completely white in color, from the printed circuit board to the heatsink cover to the rear bracket. In terms of technical specifications nothing changes compared to the RX 6700 XT in the reference version, then we find a Navi 22 GPU with 2560 stream processors at 2424/2581 MHz (Game / Boost Clock) flanked by 12 GB of GDDR6 memory at 16 Gbps.

As is known, the Radeon RX 6700 XT behaves similarly to the RTX 3070 in terms of performance with traditional titles (although a lot depends on the game, with a slightly wavy trend), while leaving performance on the field in terms of ray tracing, on which Nvidia has an advantage.

The PowerColor video card shows up with a VRM equipped with 8 + 2 DrMOS phases and a cooling system consisting of three fans – two sides of 100 mm, while the central one is 90 mm. The card does not miss the LED lighting, present on the fans, the cover and the backplate, and there is also a switch to turn off the fan LEDs. As for the radiator, five 6mm heatpipes allow you to move heat away from critical points as quickly as possible.

The whole is completed by an HDMI 2.1 port and three DisplayPort 1.4, two 8-pin PCIe connectors and dimensions of 305 x 132 x 50 mm that make the Hellbound Spectral White a solution that occupies 2.5 slots on the motherboard, now the norm.

The price? It has not been disclosed, but at this time of video card shortage it will certainly be more than double the price list announced by AMD for the Radeon 6700 XT ($ 479 tax free), so expect to see it at over 1000 euros.
