Putin announced Russia’s readiness to supply energy resources to Europe
MOSCOW, 12 Oct — PRIME. Russia is ready to supply energy resources to Europe, including this autumn and winter, now the ball is on their side, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Russia is not allowed to investigate the emergency at Nord Stream, Putin said
“Its (the surviving Nord Stream) line has a capacity of 27.5 billion cubic meters per year, which is about 8% of all gas imports to Europe. Russia is ready for the start of these deliveries. The ball, as they say, is on the side of the European Union. If they want, let them they just open the tap, and that’s it. We do not restrict anyone in anything, including we are ready to supply additional volumes in the autumn-winter period,” he said at the Russian Energy Week forum.
The forum takes place in Moscow from 12 to 14 October, RIA Novosti acts as its media partner.
