The price increase of Rad Power Bikes electric bikes could have an impact on the entire market

There are many reasons for the rise in electric bike prices. We are talking about more expensive raw materials such as aluminum for the production of frames, the weakening dollar exchange rate, higher and higher costs of transport and increasing competition. In the end, for obvious reasons, it is more profitable for the company to sell one bike for $ 200 more than two for the traditional price, when production costs are rising and margins on each bike sold decrease.

The price increases are considerable. The cheapest RadMission will go up from $ 999 to $ 1199, RadMini from $ 1299 to $ 1499, RadCity 5 Plus from $ 1799 to $ 1999, Runner Plus from $ 1799 to $ 1899, and RadWagon from $ 1899 to $ 1999. The rest of the prices of the models will remain unchanged, but mainly due to the fact that they have been introduced or recently announced on the market with a correspondingly increased price.

Such a move may end badly not only for the US market, but also for Europe, because we can buy Rad Power Bikes in Poland. Chances are that other manufacturers will also react to this move, leading to increases in already expensive models.
