It seems that Xiaomi is preparing a new smartphone with 120W ultra-fast charging. Redmi K40S received another certificate in China, revealing a lot of details about the specifications.
Ultrafast charging on the Redmi K40S
The recently debuting Xiaomi 11T uses fast charging technology. In the basic variant it is 67W, and in the Pro – 120W. The Chinese certificate reveals that the new Redmi model will also offer us ultra-fast charging and depending on the charger we have, we will be able to supplement the battery with 33, 67 or even 120W.

However, it will not be the same smartphone, but with a changed name. Reports point to some notable differences boiling down to the CPU and the main camera (at least for now). The main unit is to offer a resolution of 50 Mpix (in Xiaomi 11T we got 108 Mpix), and instead of Dimensity 1200 it will be driven by Snapdragon 870.

Of course, this is only unconfirmed information, so we will be watching further reports on this topic. There should be more of them soon, because apparently the premiere is fast approaching. It is said that the Redmi K40S will debut before November 11, which is an important Chinese holiday, because it will be a model dedicated to the local market.
