Review and testing of the AMD Radeon R7 370 video card: Test | Specs | CPU | Config – AMD has long ceased to delight its fans with the release of really new products in the mid-price segment of vide cards for desktop PCs, and has been renaming old products for a long time. Note the 110W thermal design, additional power is supplied through one 6-pin PCI Express connector. The new product should compete with the GeForce GTX 750 Ti. As a matter of fact, at one time the Radeon R7 265 was also released in order to compete with this video card.

For the Radeon R7 370, DirectX 12 support is announced. But the basic level of capabilities is supported by all solutions based on this graphics chip.
The increase in frequencies is combined with a gradual reduction in the cost of the printed circuit board and the reference version of the Radeon R7 370 resembles a typical representative of the budget class. Short board, simple power supply, and a cooler with a conventional lobe heatsink. At one time, even the Radeon HD 7770 looked a little more solid and was based on a larger PCB. But this is standard. Testing

Power-saving CPU technologies are disabled in all tests. In the NVIDIA driver settings, CPU is selected as the processor for PhysX computation. In AMD settings, Tesselation setting is switched from AMD Optimized state to Use application settings. Testing the performance of video cards was carried out in a closed case of the system unit on a system with the following configuration:

Game tests

The performance of the video cards was tested in two resolutions: 1600 × 900 and 1920 × 1080 pixels. For the tests, the graphics quality mode was used: with anisotropic filtering and full-screen anti-aliasing enabled. Anisotropic filtering and full-screen anti-aliasing was enabled directly in the game settings. V-Sync was also forcibly disabled there.
