ROG Huracan G21: everything you need to know about the new ASUS desktop

ASUS updates its PC Gaming catalog and offers an interesting update for the model ROG Huracan G21, a product launched for the first time in 2018 and which today more than ever aims above all at those users who are looking for a compact desktop in size, without obviously sacrificing performance.

Characterized by a decidedly reduced form-factor e dimensions equal to 12.99 x 37.24 x 36.61 cm, the ROG Huracan G21 (CX) does not present any new features in terms of design, maintaining aggressive and decisive lines as well as the inevitable RGB LED system with Aura Sync technology. The chassis has a side panel with magnetic closure and allows easy access to the internal components for any hardware updates.

Moving on to the hardware configuration, the Huracan G21CX is now updated with 9th gen Intel Core processors, proposing the same option as the best option Core i9-9900K analyzed in our review; also the bought graphic has been revised, passing from GeForce GTX 10 series to the most recent and powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20, except for the RTX 2080 Ti (if only for the size of the chassis).

The rest of the configuration is no different, starting from RAM (up to 32GB DDR4 2666), moving to the storage department with support for M.2 NVMe SSD and WiFi AC / Gigabit LAN connectivity. All this is placed on an ASUS mini-ITX motherboard with Intel Z390 chipset which, among other things, offers USB 3.2 gen 2 (type A) and USB 3-2 gen 1 Type-C ports.

As usual, ASUS has not provided details regarding the price of the new configurations, but on the Italian market we have spotted the Huracan G21 variant with Core i7-9700K, 16GB DDR4, RTX 2070 and 512GB SSD at a price of about 2,000 euros (see link in the EIA).
