MOSCOW, 12 Oct — PRIME. Russia will maintain its current volumes of oil production and export until 2025, President Vladimir Putin announced at the Russian Energy Week forum.
Putin announced the lack of investment in the oil market
According to him, the indicators have already stopped declining and are now slightly higher than last year’s levels.
“We plan that on the horizon of 2025, the total volume of oil exports, as well as the volume of oil production in our country, will remain approximately at the current level,” the head of state said.
Putin stressed that over the past ten years, oil production in Russia has been affected by the presence of foreign equipment, as well as its maintenance. But already in the coming years, the share of domestic technologies in oil production will be increased to 80 percent.
