Ryzen 9 3900 XT would have a single-core boost of 4.8GHz

On Saturday we talk about the new Ryzen 9 3900 XT, Ryzen 7 3800 XT, and Ryzen 5 3600 XT, improved versions of current models for those who do not want or cannot wait for Zen 3, and although it was not known at the time more than the names, now thanks to a new rumor we also know its possible frequencies.

If this rumor is true, the Ryzen 9 3900 XT will have a base frequency of 4.1GHz and boost at 4.8GHz, the Ryzen 7 3800 XT will have a base frequency of 4.2GHz and boost at 4.7GHz, and the Ryzen 5 3600 XT will have a base frequency of 4.0GHz and boost to 4.7GHz.

For comparison, the current 3900X has a base frequency of 3.8GHz and boost at 4.6GHz, the 3800X has a base frequency of 3.9GHz and boost at 4.5GHz, and the 3600X has a base frequency of 3.8GHz, and boost at 4.4GHz. . These increases from 200 to 300MHz in the XT models will allow that little push AMD lacks to be more competitive in games and tasks that use few cores, while we wait for the new Zen 3 that will arrive at the end of the year with increases in the IPC of up to 20%.

Read This Now:   The RX 6500 XT will feature 1024 Stream Processors, 4GB of VRAM, and will hit the market on January 19

The new Ryzen XTs would be announced on June 16 and hit the market on July 7, just one year after the original models.

What do you think about the frequencies of the new Ryzen XT?
