Samsung has just shown a new smartphone that will not have a cutout in the screen, but will simply have a hole present there instead. This photo was quickly removed from Twitter, but what appears on the web will never disappear from it.
Most likely, the hole is a special lens that is under the corresponding panel. I have no idea how such a solution could be better than a note. It still interferes with watching movies, and in addition, in my opinion, it looks poor. We do not know yet which smartphone will have something like this – maybe after a wave of criticism it will turn out that none?
Samsung is already working on solutions that allow the front camera to be placed under the screen and only this can revolutionize the appearance of the display. Any other solution will still be inconvenient for the user.
