Scary horror writers Remothered have announced action RPG Batora: Lost Haven

The developers from the Stormind Games studio, whom we know well from the Remothered horror series, announced their new project, which is not similar to the previous ones. We are talking about Batora: Lost Haven – a role-playing action game, the main character of which is a teenage girl named Avril. Stylistically, Batora is very different from Remothered, but it raises quite serious topics. Avril needs to save the Earth from complete extinction by all means.

In the trailer, you can see how the main character intends to give a worthy rebuff to some creatures with tentacles, so you very quickly stop paying attention to all this frivolous drawn style. Isometric camera, longsword swings, dodges and combo attacks – Batora: Lost Haven takes a lot from action role-playing, along the way demonstrating individual working mechanics from slashers.

The new project from Stormind Games is not only about action with role-playing elements, but also about the plot. The authors assure us that the story in Batora will be non-linear, much depends on the choice of the player. Well, there will be several endings. The classic hero health bar is not provided in Batora: Lost Haven. Two special scales will be placed in its place. One of them is responsible for the “spiritual” state of the heroine, the other – for the physical. As you can imagine, for the most entertaining and rhythmic gameplay, it is important to keep the fullness high on both scales.

Batora: Lost Haven has no release date yet, but we do know that this RPG is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. Even the Nintendo Switch has its own version planned.
