It is present on the game router Nighthawk X4S R7800 and allows attackers to remotely install malware by dangerously infecting the network provided by the device. Netgear classifies this vulnerability as "critical", with a score of 9.4 out of 10.
Another problem reported by the manufacturer concerns the models R6400v2, R6700, R6700v3, R6900 is R7900: the flaw is reported with a score of 8.3 out of 10, so the security risk for users who have these routers is "high".
