Several large manufacturers get off Computex, is the event canceled?

HD Tecnología

This year is being quite difficult for hardware manufacturers, and the date and duration chosen for the postponement of Computex do not collaborate. That is why several large manufacturers confirmed that they will not participate in the event, without a doubt impacting the quality and size of the event.

Among these manufacturers we find big brands like MSI, Gigabyte, TUL (The parent company of Powercolor), Chaintech (OEM of various brands, including Colorful), and ECS. Intel declined to confirm the presence, stating that first is the health of its employees and their families, and several other companies are considering offering virtual conferences instead of having a participation in the fair, although they do not have firm decisions yet.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the event, since although there are still several companies "standing", it may be that the list of companies that decide not to participate is expanding further. Not to mention that if the pandemic situation does not improve, the event will be forced to be canceled.

What do you think about this matter? Do you think that Computex will be carried out or will end up being canceled?
