Solve for Tomorrow is a new, unique Samsung program aimed at the young generation

Samsung is launching a completely new educational program called “Solve for Tomorrow”. As part of it, the young generation will be able to develop their competences and propose solutions focused on three contemporary challenges: climate, health and safety.

The “Solve for Tomorrow” (SFT) program is under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Centrum GovTech Polska and NASK

The world is changing at a rapid pace and it poses new challenges, especially for the younger generation. The Samsung program will help young people develop their competences and propose solutions focused around the three challenges of today: climate, health and safety. It is a unique space where you will be able to face the challenges of the 21st century together, exchange ideas and solve local problems. And these are only growing and it is important to encourage youth to activism, creative courage and implementation of innovative projects. After all, they are the future of the world.

A broad, holistic approach to counteracting climate change is particularly important for the Ministry of Climate and Environment. The joint action of the state administration and business, youth and experts, specialists in various fields of science is what we should strive for. Hence our support for all initiatives aimed at discovering new tools, thanks to which we will be able to jointly, in solidarity, face a problem that affects all of us.

– said Michał Kurtyka, Minister of Climate and Environment.

It is worth mentioning that SFT is a global project that was established in 2010 and enjoys great interest among young people around the world. In Poland, Samsung invites to the program teams consisting of students of secondary schools with a teacher, as well as teams of students and students of the first and second year of first-cycle studies. This is a great opportunity to help not only our planet, but also someone around you, and at the same time to develop your passion and find new friends with similar interests.

I am convinced that as part of Solve for Tommorow, many innovative and wonderful ideas will be created that will help solve the real challenges posed by the world today. I cordially invite you to participate and keep my fingers crossed for all participants!

– said Justyna Orłowska, Plenipotentiary of the Prime Minister for GovTech.

Project activities will be carried out in accordance with the next stages of the methodology of the modern design thinking process, i.e. design thinking. The process consists of the following stages: empathizing, diagnosing the problem, generating ideas, prototyping and testing. Thanks to this methodology, it is possible to shape key competences of the future, such as the ability to cooperate, be creative and think critically. It is not difficult to notice that these types of things will also be useful on the labor market, not to mention the qualifications that the members of the program will acquire during its course.

Classes will be conducted by a team of 10 outstanding educational trainers – program ambassadors

A group of doctors and teachers who work with young people and the design thinking model will conduct the classes. Each of them is an expert in a different field, which will allow for comprehensive support in the implementation of projects. As part of the training path, there will also be sessions with Samsung mentors. This role will be played by Samsung volunteer employees.

– Solve for Tomorrow is the voice of the younger generation. It will accommodate future startup founders, innovators and entrepreneurs. Thanks to participation in the program, they will gain competences that will make their voice more audible. We want to encourage young people to pose difficult questions and propose solutions. We want them to have an impact on the future

said Magdalena Olborska, CSR Manager at Samsung Electronics Polska.
