Sony in turn invests in blockchain startup Securitize

After attracting Coinbase, SBI Group or Ripple, the tokenization specialist, Securitize, has just raised funds from Sony Financial Ventures.

Advertised as an extension of its Series A financing round, this operation confirms the growing interest of Japan for the digital titles. Several Japanese giants, including SBI Group, Nomura and MUFG, indeed already support the young shoot.

Founded in 2017 in San Francisco, Securitize offers the creation of tokens corresponding to securities. It thus converts financial securities into tokens (tokenization) in order to provide more transparency, liquidity and more efficient processes.
