In November 2020, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the SoC M1 debuted, and a few months ago, the 14- and 16-inch models with the M1 Pro and M1 Max systems were released with a number of improvements. So it’s no surprise that we’ll soon be saying goodbye to the 13-inch MacBook Pro. The only question is whether Apple will find a worthy successor for it?
According to the latest information, Apple will replace the 13-inch MacBook Pro in the second half of this year
According to the latest rumors Apple will replace the 13-inch MacBook Pro with an all-new 14-inch MacBook Pro, which will be powered by a next-generation SoC in the form of the “M2”. It will most likely also receive a mini-LED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the design known from new models, and solutions with appropriate improvements, which, however, should be modest in nature.

At the same time, we do not know the details of the type and number of ports, as well as the SoC M2 itself, although rumors indicate that a 10-core graphics processor and a slightly faster central processor will come into play. The same system is also to power the new MacBook Air. However, the price increase seems certain, but it is supposed to be “slight”.
