Taiwanese GeIL has announced a new series of memory kits intended specifically for the latest generation of notebooks, based on both platform AMD Ryzen 4000 like on that Intel Core 10th Generation H Series. These memories combine high capacity with very high certified clock frequencies, so as to better meet those who need both capacity and performance.
The kit includes two 32 Gbytes modules each, for a total capacity of 64 Gbytes, combined with one maximum clock frequency certified in 3,200 MHz. Other variants of this kit are offered, with the same capacity, with maximum guaranteed clock frequencies of 2,666 MHz and 2933 MHz.
The 3,200 MHz clock memories boast timings of 22-22-22-52, not particularly pushed overall; for the 2933 MHz kit clock we find timings equal to 21-21-21-48 while the memories DDR4-2666 they benefit from more intense timings by virtue of the lower clock frequency, equal to 19-19-19-43. For all these memories the supply voltage is 1.2V, a specific value for the DDR4 standard and a sensible figure considering the attention for energy consumption that must be addressed to solutions intended for use in notebooks.
At present GeIL has only announced the memory kits, without specifying the expected price and the marketing periods.
