Testing the latest section’s graphics card is something SweClocker’s test lab is passionate about, which in combination with a great interest in readers means that we spend a large amount of time building and maintaining a solid test suite. The big challenge lies in choosing a wide range of games with varying graphics engines, interfaces and genres, where these will give results that are reproducible between different runs.

The latest version of SweClocker’s test suite for graphics cards rolled out a year ago in connection with the launch of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, and since then a lot of water has flowed under the bridges.

In addition to Nvidia’s transition to the Turing architecture, AMD has also launched the new Navi family with the Radeon RX 5700 XT at the forefront – which means that there are two new architectures on the market that could potentially take better advantage of the latest cut games and graphics engines released. the past year.
