Test – Scythe Kabuto 3
| Specs | Price

Hi all !

Scythe, well known in regions far from home, has been there for a long time and offers coolers with a very good performance / price ratio compared to the competition. After the excellent Fuma (tested here) and Ninja 4 (tested here) it is the turn of a “Top Flow” model to pass into my hands, I named the Kabuto 3! On the program a cooler equipped with a 12 cm fan, 5 nickel-plated copper heat pipes as well as a radical change in the fixing system (compared to other models) which uses the principle of the reference Intel cooler, namely 4 clips to push into the holes on the motherboard.
Offered at a price of around € 46 (the day it will be found) as usual the brand hits hard, let’s see if the Kabuto 3 is worth it!

The front panel shows what the brand does on other products, namely a warrior on a black background as well as the brand, the model of course as well as the compatibility with the different sockets. At the back the warranty information (2 years) as well as the usual warnings.

On the sides we find the technical characteristics of the beast, more particularly the dimensions of all the elements via different diagrams.
