In November 2020, several rumors began to refer to AMD preparing a graphics Radeon RX 6700 XT with 12GB GDDR6 memory under the RDNA 2 architecture. Now, in Hardwareluxx they affirm that this card will finally arrive with that amount of memory and, as expected, it will do so during the first half of this year or even the first quarter, in March.
The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT will feature 40 compute units.
This card will complement the actuales Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT y RX 6800, standing just below it. A more modest version is also expected to arrive, the RX 6700, with fewer CPU units and specifications, but with the same amount of GDDR6 memory, although further details are unknown at the moment.

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT will be geared towards running games at resolutions of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and, at least until the 6700 or lower versions arrive, it will be the cheapest graphics in AMD’s RDNA 2 line of cards. It will be necessary to see if it finally arrives with stock or the current situation is repeated, where it is very difficult to get hold of one of the new graphics from NVIDIA or AMD without spending large sums of money.
