Chances are that soon the NVIDIA BFGD program, that is, the one concerning large format gaming displays (Big Format Gaming Display), will gain new representatives. The 85-inch AU Optronics panel with 4K and 240 Hz refresh was officially disclosed at the conference in Taiwan.
The 85-inch AU Optronics panel could become the basis for the new NVIDIA BFGD monitors
We emphasize that this is only a panel, not a full-fledged monitor, which will eventually go to, if a company like ASUS, Gigabyte or MSI is interested in it. However, this should happen, because this 85-inch AU Optronics panel, displaying an image in 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and capable of squeezing up to 240 Hz refresh, looks promising on paper (via Tom’s Hardware). Interestingly, the manufacturer’s official website mentions a refresh of 144 Hz.

According to DigiTimes, this panel, designed for multi-format monitors, is to be characterized by “ultra high dynamic range” and an ultra-wide range of colors at the level of 96% and anti-refraction technology. Nothing interesting can be said about the price and availability at the moment, so there is only one question … what to combine this equipment with?
