The first motherboard with a touch panel, the MSI MEG Z690 Godlike

It seems that after the MSI MEG Z690 Godlike photo leaked, the company decided to follow the blow and began to officially mention this model, which is unique. The reason for this is simple – it’s the first motherboard with a touch panel. Its uniqueness is also added by the fact that it is said to be delivered with MEG Core Liquid S360 cooling, 32 GB of DDR5-6000 FURY memory from Kingston and an Expander-Z expansion card.

Let’s start with the fact that MSI MEG Z690 Godlike is MSI’s flagship motherboard, competing with such masterpieces as the Z690 AORUS Xtreme from Gigabyte, or ROG Maximus Z690 from ASUS. However, it surpasses them above all in one aspect – size. The MSI proposal measures the entire 305 × 310 mm as the eATX proposal, while the competing models mentioned above measure 305 × 285 and 305 × 277 mm respectively.

The MEG Z690 Godlike will therefore be a giant that will take on board, among others 22-phase (20 + 0 + 2) power section, extensive cooling systems, or a total of 128 GB of DDR5-6666 memory. However, MSI did not focus on this in the latest announcement material. Instead, the company boasted that this model will be the first motherboard on the market with a 3.5-inch touch panel:
