The xMEMS Labs company has created the world’s first MEMS micro-loudspeaker (with electromechanical microchips) that has been integrated with DynamicVent. This is a feature that allows TWS headphones and hearing aids to have both open and closed character.

The first manufacturers are already checking what the Montara Pro micro loudspeaker makes possible

The MEMS loudspeakers themselves are a new competition to electrodynamic loudspeakers, which leaves the producers a lot of scope to show off and be “the first” on the market. This is exactly what xMEMS Labs has shown, by integrating the already patented DynamicVent function into its Montara Pro microcontroller.

Thanks to it, the earphones equipped with Montara Pro are able to respond to the level of ambient noise, which is picked up by microphones and close or open the vent. All this to ensure successively maximum passive isolation and its complete absence, while guaranteeing natural hearing of the environment and the absence of negative phenomena that accompany the now ubiquitous Hear-Through modes in headphones with ANC.

DynamicVent also eliminates the need for traditional static vents, which will improve overall sound quality. Especially in the low frequency range.
