We can only imagine the joy auto bargain hunters enjoy at auctions like the upcoming Intrencheres. It will contain as many as 81 cars that were found in a huge barn in a rural stretch of France. And among them a miracle – Lamborghini Miura P400.
Of course, the history of such a number of abandoned cars from the 1960s and 1970s is unknown. Unfortunately, their alleged owner did not take care of the proper conditions in the room, which is why all the specimens are not in the best condition – moldy tires or numerous rusty pits are only the tip of the iceberg that can be hidden inside each specimen sold.
Among all the classics, the Lamborghini Miura P400 stands out with the original V12 and 77,886 kilometers on the meter, which is to sell for the highest amount. In addition to her, many collectors look with admiration at, among others Jaguar E-Type 1964 coupe, Pre-A Porsche 356 coupe, Corvette C3 from 1981. The rest of the offer is completed by several Lincoln Continentals, Lancia Flaminias and a single Citroen Van from 1930. There were still interesting works from the brands Audi, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Oldsmobile , Alfa Romeo, Renault, Chryslers and Cadillacs, which are not that interesting though.
The jewel of the auction, which will take place on January 20, is the Lamborghini Miura P400. It is estimated to sell for a minimum of $ 456,000, being ten times more expensive than any other car at this auction.
