The premiere of the Lenovo Legion Y9000K. Liquid metal and on board Mini-LED display

Three months before the premiere of the new 12th generation Intel mobile processors, the Lenovo Legion Y9000K 2021 gaming laptop in the Exploration Edition version was presented. Impressive with its specs, it’s still a refresh with two major improvements over the Legion 7i.

The new Lenovo Legion Y9000K laptop will delight even the creators with its screen

Although Lenovo has not confirmed the day of the premiere, availability and, even more so, the price, we already know everything about the new Y9000K. This flagship laptop will combine the Intel Core i7-1800H processor, an 8-core representative of the Tiger Lake-H (45) family, with the Max-P variants of GeForce RTX 3060 / RTX 3070 or RTX 3080 cards. Cooling will be facilitated by a system enriched with liquid metal. This is one of the aforementioned improvements.

The second improvement will be the display, covering 92% of the front panel and reaching the Mini-LED panel with a brightness set at 1250 nits, with 1152 independent dimming spheres and the DisplayHDR1000 certificate. At least that’s what the trailer above says, suggesting a special version of the Y900K, as Gizmochina mentions that the base model will be offered with a 2560×1600 display with 165Hz refresh and 500 nits brightness.
