We have now officially launched the GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition graphics card, which turned out to be the result of cooperation between ASUS and Noctua. Rumors about it have been circulating for a long time, but only today we can officially say that the first official Noctua card is already with us.

To start with, the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Noctua Edition uses Noctua fans and a specially designed heatsink that was jointly developed by both companies. Its uniqueness is reduced to the high reduction of the noise level, which is why it owes it the title of the quietest card in its class. We are talking about reducing the noise by 15 dB (A) at medium fan speed and 9dB (A) at maximum.

However, the fans themselves don’t really take off to high levels in a well-ventilated case. The company guarantees that this model will maintain very low fan speeds even with 100% load on the graphics card, generating noise at the level of 12.6 dB (A). Of course, all of this with semi-passive technology (ASUS 0db) that can turn off the fans completely when the GPU temperature drops below 50 ° C.

Unfortunately, the price remains unknown, but the card in the standard and OC (overclocked) version is to start hitting the market (heh;)) from mid-October.
