These leaks are hard to believe considering the shortage of products we have right now, but the calendar is confirming that Nvidia’s RTX 30 series graphics cards were released over a year ago and the show must go on, and for Nvidia that means the development and subsequent release of their next-gen RTX cards.Whether that means they’ll be good for gamers or miners is a different matter entirely.
In a tweet from the leaker kopite7kimi, he suggests that Nvidia’s next generation of cards, the RTX 4090, 4080 and 4070, could appear in the third quarter of 2022. It is unclear if this time frame would be for the actual announcement or launch. After the announcement we have to wait about two months for them to arrive.
If nothing else, we will see 4090, 4080 and 4070 in 2022Q3. I don’t think this is new information.

Previous rumors hinted at an October 2022 release date for Ampere’s successor, codenamed Lovelace. Assuming the latest rumor is accurate, Nvidia may have changed its roadmap for at least a couple of months.
Nvidia’s Lovelace cards are expected to be built with TSMC’s N5 node and could offer twice the performance of existing Series 30 cards, albeit at the expense of higher power consumption. Another well-known leaker, Greymon55, recently said next-gen GPUs could be twice as powerful as current cards.
