The Stellar Foundation Joins the Blockchain Association Lobby

The Stellar foundation is the latest major player in the blockchain and crypto-currencies to join the Blockchain Association.

Already made up of numerous industry figures such as Ripple, Coinbase, Kraken and even eToro, the American association aims to defend the blockchain and its uses with the political class.

On its website, the Stellar Foundation (SFD) recently announced it will join the initiative to "help decision makers better understand the potential of this technology" and "improve the current financial system."

With organizations with similar ambitions, we will use our collective voice to advocate for an intelligent and effective policy that will allow blockchain to thrive in the United States, ”wrote the foundation.

Led by the CEO of Circle, Jeremy Allaire, the Blockchain Association fights in particular so that legislators do not put Bitcoin and Libra in the same bag.
