Hungary urges EC not to include nuclear energy in the list of sanctions

“Europe must switch to clean energy and not become obsessed with fossil fuels,” said UN Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights Nada Al-Nashifa.

He stressed that the policy of using fossil energy resources should not last long, as it harms the environment.

The energy crisis in Europe worsened after the imposition of sanctions against Russia. Rising prices for raw materials and fuel shortages have forced some EU countries to reconsider their views on “green” energy.
