Thermaltake Level 20 RS, new simple and functional PC case

The design of the Thermaltake Level 20 RS

There are many things that this box has to highlight, such as the inclusion of the ARGB light bar at the top of the front. Speaking of the front, the manufacturer has replaced the usual metal grill with a three-layer dust filter – two of them removable and washable – while they have integrated three pillars in this area to maximize air flow. To also highlight the two 200mm diameter ARGB fans on the front, of massive size to ensure the best possible air flow, combined with another 120mm ARGB fan installed as standard at the rear.

As we anticipated at the beginning, the box has tempered glass panels on both sides to show off all the internal hardware. In fact, although the power supply has a cover, they have put an acrylic plastic window to show their brand and model since many users complained that they had a high-end source and could not "show it." The PCI-Express sockets are rotary, so we can always choose to install the graphics card vertically if we want to.

Finally, note that instead of having a front panel has two, on both sides of the upper area. On the right side we find two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, while on the left side we have the power and reset buttons, as well as the usual audio minijacks.

High end hardware support

That this is a simple PC case does not mean that we cannot install high-end hardware in it. Thus, Level 20 RS supports ATX size motherboards standard, processor heatsinks up to 172 mm Tall, graphics up to 400 mm of length installed both vertically and horizontally (removing the rack for hard drives, with this the maximum length is 282 mm), power supplies up to 220 mm in length and up to three hard drives, in combination of 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives.

At the moment Thermaltake has not said when this box will come to the market or at what price, but we estimate that it will be around 100 euros and it will not be bad to be that way, especially considering the two tempered glass panels and that it includes three fans ( two of them ARGB 200 mm) as standard.
