This is ASRock X670 Taichi motherboard for upcoming Ryzen 7000 CPUs

in the channel of YouTube by ASRockwe were able to find a video showing a new AM5 motherboard as a thumbnail.

They’ve taken the video down now, but we’ll be able to see it, from what I said, in 5 days, shortly after AMD’s Computex 2022 press conference, where several X670 motherboards are expected to be seen. Product based on socket AM5, which is ready for the next desktop processors Ryzen 7000 con Zen4.

The image of the motherboard is the one in this article.

The description confirms that the board will use the X670E chipset, which is supposedly the premium variant of the X670 with PCIe Gen5 support for both the GPU and storage. ASRock to introduce X670 Taichi and Taichi Carrara motherboardsbut it’s not clear which one is shown in the render.

The X670E Taichi motherboard would have two PCIe Gen x16 slots (possibly both Gen5). Furthermore, we can see four DDR5 memory slots. The chipset heatsink appears to be passively cooled. ASRock might showcase the new boards after AMD’s keynote address at Computex.

If this doesn’t happen, we may have to wait 5 more days to see ASRock’s new AM5 motherboards.
