Twitter is testing the Circle feature. What is it about?

What’s new on Twitter? This time, the website informed about the ongoing tests of a function called “Circle”, which will allow us to tweet only to a selected circle of close friends.

Twitter starts Circle Tests, Tweet to a group of up to 150 people

Just like on Instagram, we can create lists of close friends and then share posts only for them, a similar function will be introduced by Twitter. Circle allows you to create a group of people (maximum 150) who will then see our tweets and be able to reply to them. Entries will not be visible outside of this circle. It is worth remembering that the functionality is not the same as the community or private account, which are also available on the website.

According to the information, only one circle can be created and only we will have access to the list of users. Importantly, the tweets sent in this way cannot be passed on, but nothing will prevent others from taking screenshots or posting published multimedia. In addition, if someone adds us to their circle, we will not be able to remove ourselves from it, so you will have to mute unwanted conversations.
